The beginning of the water lift muffler, all welded 3" sched 40 type 316. This is the base of the cannister, the 90 coming towards us takes the flex pipe from the engine, and the other one goes eventually, aft, up, through a smaller vetus, to a vetus gooseneck, and overboard. I plumbed a drain from this to the sump tank, so I can empty it if I ever feel I've cranked enough without starting to backfill the engine. Next
